Forecasted Gusty Winds Prompt Advisory For Parts Of San Diego County

Weather officials warned gusty winds could move unsecured objects, and cause downed tree limbs and power outages.

SAN DIEGO, CA — Forecasted gusty winds have prompted a high wind advisory for parts of San Diego County.

A high wind advisory will be in effect from 6 p.m. Wednesday through 4 a.m. Thursday for the county deserts and mountains, according to the National Weather Service.

West winds from 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph are expected, the NWS said. Isolated gusts may reach up to 65 mph.
