Heat Advisory Issued For Parts Of San Diego County
The NWS advised people to drink plenty of fluids, stay in air-conditioned rooms, stay out of the sun, and check on relatives and neighbors.
SAN DIEGO, CA — Hot conditions continue to ramp up this week across the San Diego County valleys.
The National Weather Service issued a heat advisory from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday for the county valleys. High temperatures are expected in the mid-90s to 102 degrees for the inland valleys, according to the agency.
"Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses to occur," forecasters warned.

The NWS advised people to drink plenty of fluids, stay in air-conditioned rooms, stay out of the sun, and check on relatives and neighbors. Weather officials also reminded residents that young children and pets should never be left unattended in vehicles.
"Know the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke," forecasters said. "Anyone overcome by heat should be moved to a cool and shaded location."
