Hello Kitty Cafe Truck Tour To Make Final San Diego Stop This Weekend

SAN DIEGO, CA — The Hello Kitty Cafe Pop-Up Truck tour will make its final San Diego stop this weekend.

The tour has already made its way through Carlsbad and Chula Vista. The final San Diego area pop-up event is slated Saturday at Fashion Valley in San Diego.

The all-pink cafe on wheels offers exclusive treats and collectibles celebrating all things Hello Kitty. During the pop-up event, fans can purchase edible goodies and limited-edition collectibles, including Hello Kitty-themed apparel, as well as home goods and accessories.

The merchandise list features a Hello Kitty hoodie, T-shirt, canvas tote, cup plush, glass mug, lunchbox, stainless steel thermal bottle, and hand-decorated cookie sets. Only credit and debit cards are accepted, according to organizers.

This is not the first year Hello Kitty has hit the road. The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck made its debut in October 2014 as part of Sanrio's first food-related venture. To date, two Hello Kitty Cafe trucks have traveled to more than 100 cities across both coasts, according to organizers.

As part of the current tour, the truck will stop from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at Fashion Valley at 7007 Friars Road. The truck will be located near Bloomingdales and Forever 21.
