Hyatt Vacation Ownership To Host Hiring Event Tuesday At The Welk

SAN DIEGO, CA — Hyatt Vacation Ownership is hosting a hiring event Tuesday for several dozen open positions in the San Diego area, the company announced.

The year-round, hourly positions are for a variety of departments at the Escondido-based resort The Welk. According to the company, positions include:

• Activities and recreation associates — starting pay at $15 per hour
• Food and beverage associates — starting pay at $15 per hour
• Front office personnel — starting pay at $17 per hour
• Housekeeping associates — starting pay at $17 per hour
• Maintenance associates — starting pay at $17 per hour

Hyatt Vacation Ownership offers discounts on vacation experiences and stays at its resorts for associates, their families and friends, according to the company. Full-time associates also have access to a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental and vision plans; paid time off; a 401(k) retirement plan and employee stock purchase program; tuition reimbursement; and employee assistance counseling and financial counseling.

Relevant industry experience is preferred but not required, according to the company. Paid training will be provided.
