Janet Jackson Bringing 'Black Diamond' Tour To San Diego
The 34-date North American leg of the world tour will stop at San Diego State's Viejas Arena.
SAN DIEGO — Janet Jackson is going on tour — and stopping in San Diego this summer. The iconic singer announced her 34-date North American tour on Monday.
"I've heard all your wishes, and I'm working on my new album and going on a new world tour this summer titled 'Black Diamond,'" the artist wrote on Twitter. "I'm so excited to share this new era with you."
The tour begins June 24 in Miami, Florida, and ends Aug. 23 in Tacoma, Washington. European and other world tour dates will follow, according to Jackson's website.

Jackson is scheduled to perform Aug. 10 at San Diego State's Viejas Arena.

She has two other Southern California concerts set for Aug. 12 at Staples Center in Los Angeles and Aug. 15 at the Honda Center in Anaheim.
