Freeway Jumper Shuts Down I-5 In San Diego
Three of the four lanes on northbound I-5 near Gilman Drive were closed due to the incident, according to the CHP.

SAN DIEGO, CA – A man jumped to his death from a San Diego bridge onto Interstate 5 in an apparent suicide Monday, prompting police to shut down multiple lanes of the freeway.
Three of the four lanes on northbound I-5 near Gilman Drive in the University City area were closed due to the incident, according to the California Highway Patrol. All lanes were reopened by about 3:20 p.m.
Traffic was backed up in the area through the afternoon commute.
