Latino Film Series Launches In San Diego

¡Que Viva Cine Latino! will take place every Wednesday in September at the Paseo del Arte corridor at Las Americas Premium Outlets.

SAN DIEGO, CA - From San Diego Latino Film: Media Arts Center San Diego, producer of the San Diego Latino Film Festival, and Las Americas Premium Outlets are proud to announce the outdoor Latino film showcase ¡Que Viva Cine Latino!.

¡Que Viva Cine Latino!, presented by Las Americas Premium Outlets, will showcase some of the most innovative and critically acclaimed Latino movies from the past 12 months in a unique, outdoor setting. The event will take place every Wednesday in September (Sept. 6, 13, 20 and 27) beginning at 6:30 p.m. PT with live entertainment and art exhibits at the Paseo del Arte corridor at Las Americas Premium Outlets, between the Old Navy and Coach stores.

The film selection will feature this year’s hilarious box office hit How to Be a Latin Lover (Sept. 6), starring Eugenio Derbez and Salma Hayek; the warm and witty comedy Un Padre No Tan Padre (Sept. 13), with a brilliant performance by Héctor Bonilla; the charming romantic comedy Everybody Loves Somebody (Sept. 20), featuring Karla Souza; and Lowriders (Sept. 27), a celebration of the lowrider culture with Eva Longoria and Demián Bichir.

All screenings are free and open to the public, with seating available on a first-come basis. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own blankets and grab a snack at one of the many food locations throughout the center.
