LA MESA, CA — At least one person was injured in a multi-vehicle crash in La Mesa Sunday evening.

The crash was reported to the California Highway Patrol at 8:07 p.m. Sunday and it occurred on westbound state Route 94 at the Massachusetts Avenue off-ramp.

A woman in one of the involved vehicles told a witness her son was injured. The number of injured and extent of injuries was not immediately available, and the approximate age of her son was not disclosed.

It appeared a motorist involved drove away from the scene but the vehicle was located within the hour, according to the CHP's online log.
