Man Arrested In Fatal Shooting At San Diego Hotel
Kevin Larin, 29, was arrested and booked into San Diego County Jail on suspicion of murder.

SAN DIEGO, CA — A man was arrested in connection with a deadly shooting at a hotel in San Diego, authorities said.
Officers responded to a reported shooting around 8:20 p.m. Monday at the Handlery Hotel at 950 Hotel Circle North, according to the San Diego Police Department.
They found a 19-year-old Hispanic man with a gunshot wound to his upper torso in an interior hallway, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His name was withheld pending family notification.

Officers found a second victim, a 23-year-old Hispanic man, with a gunshot wound to his upper body outside of the lobby. He was taken to a hospital for treatment. His injury was believed to be non-life-threatening, police said.
"Based on information received at the scene, officers determined the shooter got into a dark colored F-150 truck," police said in a news release. "Officers located that truck in the hotel parking lot a short time later occupied by the male. After gathering the necessary resources, officers ordered the man out of the vehicle and took him into custody without incident."

The man was identified as 29-year-old Kevin Larin. He was booked into San Diego County Jail on suspicion of murder.
