Man Fatally Shot In Chollas Creek
A man police believe to be homeless was found shot to death in Chollas Creek.
SAN DIEGO, CA — A man police believe to be homeless was found shot to death Thursday in Chollas Creek.
The man was found to be suffering from multiple gunshot wounds on a sidewalk in the 3800 block of 50th Street near Wightman Street around 12:30 a.m., according to the San Diego Police Department
Paramedics arrived on scene and transported the man to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His name was being withheld pending family notification.

He was described as a 35-year-old homeless man from the East African country of Somalia.
Detectives investigating the incident are attempting to locate possible witnesses. A possible motive was not immediately known.
