Man Fatally Shot In Valencia Park Neighborhood ID'd
Preliminary investigations indicated that the people involved in the shooting knew one another.
SAN DIEGO, CA — A 28-year-old San Diego man who was killed in a shooting last week in the Valencia Park neighborhood was publicly identified Monday.
San Diego police responded to multiple 911 calls reporting a shooting in the 400 block of South 58th Street at about 4:50 p.m. July 15. Officers arrived to find Leano Azzazi suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, according to the San Diego Police Department.
San Diego Fire-Rescue personnel took Azzazi to a trauma center, where he died.

Preliminary investigations indicated that the people involved in the shooting knew one another, and police believe the shooting was an isolated event, according to SDPD. The suspect or suspects fled the scene before officers arrived.
