Man Fatally Struck By Vehicle In Old Town Area Of San Diego
Paramedics rushed the man to a hospital, where he died from his injuries.

SAN DIEGO, CA — A man was struck and killed by a vehicle in the Old Town community of San Diego, authorities said Sunday.
The man was walking north in the bike lane, along the west curb line in the 4600 block of Pacific Highway when he began crossing the street about 8:30 p.m. Saturday from the west to east -- and directly into the path of a 2019 Hyundai Elantra, the San Diego Police Department reported.
Paramedics rushed the man to a hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Police said alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
