Man Flashes Gun, Robs Yogurtland In San Diego

Police searched Thursday morning for a man suspected of robbing a Yogurtland shop in the Rolando neighborhood of San Diego.

SAN DIGEO, CA – Police searched Thursday morning for a man suspected of robbing a Yogurtland shop in the Rolando neighborhood of San Diego.

The suspect was seen about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday walking in the shop at 6165 El Cajon Blvd. when he lifted his shirt and showed an employee near the registers a black gun in his waistband, according to Officer Robert Heims of the San Diego Police Department.

The employee opened a register and stepped back as the suspect took money and fled out the front door in an unknown direction, Heims said.
