Man Injured After Being Hit By Car In Little Italy

A man who suffered a fractured skull is in stable condition after being side-swiped by a van in Little Italy.

SAN DIEGO, CA — A man who suffered a fractured skull is in stable condition Wednesday after being side-swiped by a van in Little Italy.

Tuesday around 4 p.m., a 50-year-old man driving a 1998 Plymouth Voyager hit a 38-year-old man as he exited his parked vehicle on the east curb line on State Street, according to the San Diego Police Department. The 50-year-old also hit the parked victim's vehicle.

The victim was taken to a hospital with a fractured skull. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.
