A man's arm had to be amputated in a rollover accident in Rancho Penasquitos, police said.

SAN DIEGO, CA — A man's arm had to be amputated in a rollover accident in Rancho Penasquitos, police said Monday.
A 38-year-old man traveling in a 2001 Ford Explorer at unknown speeds lost control of the vehicle and flipped over near 10100 Carmel Mountain Road around 7 p.m. Sunday, according to the San Diego Police Department.
He was taken to a hospital suffering a serious injury to his left arm. Police report that the victim's left arm was amputated from above the elbow.
