Man Seriously Injured By Hit-And-Run Vehicle In San Diego

SAN DIEGO, CA — A 47-year-old man suffered serious injuries when he was struck by a hit-and-run vehicle in the University Heights community of San Diego, authorities said Sunday.

The man was standing near the bus lane, just east of the east crosswalk in the 1800 block of El Cajon Boulevard, when he was struck at about 8:50 p.m. Saturday by a vehicle that had made a right turn from northbound Park Boulevard, the San Diego Police Department reported.

The vehicle was described as a dark-colored Honda Civic or BMW 3 Series. Police say it continued eastbound on El Cajon Boulevard.
