Man Shot In Chest In Bay Terraces Neighborhood

SAN DIEGO, CA — An 18-year-old man was shot in the chest in the Paradise Hills neighborhood, police said Monday.

Officers found the man shot at least five times about 3:25 p.m. Sunday in the 6600 block of Potomac Street, near Alta View Drive, Officer John Buttle of the San Diego Police Department said.

The victim was hospitalized and treated for a gunshot wound to the chest. His condition was not immediately available.

The officer said police were searching for a man driving a black Jeep or dark SUV. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and black pants.
