SAN DIEGO, CA — A 63-year-old man suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries when he was struck by an SUV Saturday in the Midtown community of San Diego.

The pedestrian, who was not in a marked crosswalk, stepped directly into the path of a southbound Honda C-RV about 1:20 am. in the 3500 block of Kettner Boulevard, police said.
