Man, Teen Killed In Crash On Rain-Slicked Road In Ramona
The man and the teen were pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.

RAMONA, CA — A man and his teenage passenger were killed in a crash with another vehicle in San Diego County, authorities said Friday.
The crash happened at about 4:45 p.m. Thursday when a 21-year-old Ramona man was driving a 2007 Toyota Scion TC, westbound on San Vicente Road, east of Wildcat Canyon Road in Ramona, according to the California Highway Patrol. A 13-year-old boy was seated in the right front passenger seat.
A 61-year-old Ramona was driving a 2018 Dodge Durango eastbound on San Vicente Road, approaching the Toyota, Officer Jared Grieshaber said.

"For reasons still under investigation, the Toyota drove over the painted double yellow lines, into the eastbound lane of San Vicente Road, causing the front of the Dodge to strike the right passenger door of the Toyota," Grieshaber said.
The man and the teen were pronounced dead at the scene, Grieshaber said. The woman was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

"At the time of the crash the roadway was wet from rain," Grieshaber said. "It is unknown at this time if drugs and/or alcohol were a factor in the crash."
