Man Unconscious After Accident In San Diego's Mission Bay Park
One man had not regained consciousness hours after an accident that put him and the driver of the vehicle in the hospital, police said.

SAN DIEGO, CA — One man had not regained consciousness hours after an accident that put him and the driver of the vehicle in the hospital, police said Tuesday.
A 34-year-old driver of a Mercedes car was traveling with a 28-year- old passenger when the car struck a curb and exited the roadway on the Mission Bay Drive ramp from Sea World Drive around 5:30 p.m. Monday, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The driver suffered a broken ankle. The passenger was transported to a hospital with a broken leg and had not regained consciousness as of three hours after the accident, police said.

The investigation into the accident is ongoing, but police believe DUI is a factor. No other information was released.
