NATIONAL CITY, CA — A man and a woman walked into a convenience store at a National City gas station Tuesday morning to report that they had been shot.
The pair showed up at the Shell gas station on National City Boulevard, just north of west 33rd Street, shortly before 3 a.m., according to National City police.
Officers responded and found a man and a woman suffering from gunshot wounds to their legs, NBC7 reported.

The victims were taken to a hospital for treatment of their injuries, which were not believed to be life-threatening, the news station reported.
No suspect description was available and it was not clear where the shooting occurred.

A stolen Honda Accord parked next to a gas pump was impounded and investigators were trying to determine if it was related to the shooting, 10News reported.
