Man Wounded In Drive-By Shooting In Mountain View

A 70-year-old man was hospitalized after being wounded in the leg in a drive-by shooting in the Mountain View neighborhood of San Diego.

SAN DIEGO, CA — A 70-year-old man was hospitalized in stable condition after being wounded in a leg in a drive-by shooting in the Mountain View neighborhood of San Diego Thursday evening.

San Diego Police Department officers were called at 8:43 p.m. to the 3600 block of Gilmore Street where they found the victim suffering from four gunshots wounds to the leg, Officer Robert Buttle told City News Service.

The investigation is in its preliminary stages and there was no suspect description, Buttle said.
