Mikami Bar & Revolving Sushi Opens In San Diego

"We are thrilled to be calling the Convoy District home and are eager to share Mikami with the community."

SAN DIEGO, CA — A new sushi restaurant has opened its doors in San Diego. Mikami Bar & Revolving Sushi opened Monday in the Convoy District.

"We are thrilled to be calling the Convoy District home and are eager to share Mikami with the community," said Manoj Chawla, managing member of San Diego-based private property management firm, Oceanic Enterprises, which operates the new eatery.

Mikami, which owners say is California's largest revolving sushi restaurant, offers more than 70 types of sushi on a rotating conveyor belt. The expansive conveyor belt winds through the 6,000-square foot restaurant, passing each booth and bar seat.
