Most Kid-Friendly Restaurants In CA: OpenTable
The online reservation company OpenTable has released its "50 Kid-Friendly Restaurants in America" list for 2019.
CALIFORNIA — California is home to some of the most kid-friendly restaurants in the country, according to OpenTable.
The online reservation company released its "50 Kid-Friendly Restaurants in America," featuring restaurants that span 16 states and Washington, D.C. Although Florida and New York tied for first place with seven spots on the list, a few California eateries were recognized as well as several chain restaurants that have locations in the Golden State.
"When you're dining out with kids, you want to find a restaurant that has something for everyone – a menu that appeals to younger diners, great cocktail options for the adults and, of course, the ambiance to match," said Caroline Potter, the company's chief dining officer.

"Whether you're a family of foodies celebrating something special or you're avoiding doing dishes on a weeknight, these restaurants have a fun family-friendly vibe and fare that'll hit the spot."
The Dead Fish in Contra Costa County's Crockett, Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner in Orange County's Buena Park and True Food Kitchen's Palo Alto location in the San Francisco Bay Area are the most kid-friendly restaurants in California, according to OpenTable.

Chain restaurants Benihana, Hard Rock Cafe, Maggiano's, Rainforest Cafe and Sugar Factory — which all have locations in California — also landed on the list.

OpenTable compiled its list based on diner reviews collected between July 1, 2018 and June 30, 2019. The list was culled from more than 12 million reviews of over 30,000 restaurants in the U.S.
