Most Scenic Restaurants In CA: OpenTable's List

CALIFORNIA – OpenTable has released its "100 Most Scenic Restaurants in America" list for 2018, and a number of restaurants in California made the cut. In fact, California came out on top again this year with 28 restaurants, followed by Florida with 13 dining destinations and New York with seven spots.

"We know a memorable meal is as much about the ambiance as it is about the food," Caroline Potter, OpenTable's chief dining officer, said in a statement. "This year's list represents an immense variety of restaurants that not only offer an exceptional meal but also feature breathtaking views that enhance the experience for locals and travelers alike."

Restaurants that span 25 states and offer a variety of stellar views landed on the annual list.

OpenTable, an online restaurant reservation system, compiled its list based on more than 12 million reviews for more than 28,000 restaurants in all 50 states and Washington, D.C. The reviews were submitted on the site between June 1, 2017 and May 31, 2018.

These are the most scenic restaurants in California, according to OpenTable. Restaurants are listed in alphabetical order:

• Duke's – San Diego
• Duke's – Malibu

• George's Ocean Terrace – San Diego
• Greens Restaurant – San Francisco
• Il Fornaio – Coronado
• Island Prime – San Diego
• Jake's Del Mar – Del Mar
• The Lobster – Santa Monica
• The Marine Room – San Diego
• Mastro's Ocean Club – Newport Beach
• Mastro's Ocean Club – Malibu
• Oyster Loft – Pismo Beach
• Pacific Coast Grill - Cardiff – Cardiff–by–the–Sea
• Perch LA – Los Angeles
