Motorcyclist Injured After Colliding With Van In Mission Valley: SDPD

Police said the motorcyclist suffered a fractured femur.

SAN DIEGO, CA — A motorcycle rider was injured over the weekend after colliding with a van in the Mission Valley neighborhood, the San Diego Police Department said Monday.

The crash happened just after 6:15 p.m. on Sunday on the 600 block of Hotel Circle South. SDPD said the 67-year-old man was riding his blue Suzuki SV650 motorcycle east and didn't see the black Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, driven by 52-year-old woman, stopped in the lane.

Police said the motorcyclist suffered a fractured femur. SDPD's Traffic Division is investigating the collision.
