'Name Your Price' For Adult Dogs At San Diego Humane Society

SAN DIEGO, CA — Adopters can name their price for adult dogs this weekend at San Diego Humane Society.

The organization has 650 animals available for adoption, including 230 adult dogs that need forever homes.

"We have an incredible amount of adult dogs in our care and we are running out of space," said Jessica Des Lauriers," chief operating officer of San Diego Humane Society. "We would love to see these deserving pups in homes where they belong instead of kennels. Even a shelter as great as ours can't compare to the comfort of a home."

The adoption special runs from Friday through Sunday for dogs that are 7 months and older.

Dogs available for adoption have been spayed/neutered and vaccinated. San Diego Humane Society offers an adoption guarantee, training advice, pet supplies and educational information to support families for the life of the pet, according to the organization.

San Diego Humane Society is open for walk-in adoptions from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday at its campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside and San Diego. View animals available for adoption.
