New French Bistro & Wine Bar Opens In San Diego's Little Italy
With locales in O.C. and L.A, Zinqué has moved to town serving breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner at the Kettner Boulevard location.

SAN DIEGO, CA — Zinqué, a French bistro, café and wine bar with locations in Venice, West Hollywood, Newport Beach and Downtown Los Angeles, has expanded to San Diego, opening its newest location this week in the Little Italy neighborhood.
With 3,000 square feet, a fireplace and covered outdoor patio, Zinqué is located at 2101 Kettner Blvd. in AV8, the mixed-use retail and residential development on the corner of Kettner and West Hawthorn Street.
“We’ve been interested in expanding to San Diego for quite a while, but I was searching for the perfect location,” said restaurant owner Emmanuel Dossetti. “Little Italy is ideal because it is reminiscent of our first location in Venice. It has that same neighborhood feel with a mix of creative professionals and residents who can come in at all hours of the day to drink coffee, enjoy a glass of wine, dine, read, work and socialize.”

Like its sibling locations in Southern California, San Diego Zinqué offers a menu of craft cocktails and such French-inspired fare as authentic Parisian bread imported from the Poilâne Bakery in Paris, house-baked croissants and other pastries, breakfast sandwiches with egg, tomato, basil and aged Gruyère, classic cheeses, charcuterie selections, gourmet sandwiches, salads, along with grilled branzino and steak-frites.
Zinqué's wine offerings put an emphasis on organic and sustainable wines, with the list including French wines as well as other unique varieties from around the world, management said.
