The entertainer and television personality, who graduated from Monte Vista High in Spring Valley in 1998, will host the grand opening of the bar and club, inspired by MTV’s “Wild ‘N Out,” Viacom’s longest running comedy show, in its 18th season.

He debuted the concept in Miami four years ago and expanded the eatery in March 2020 – as the pandemic took hold. The original restaurant is listed as “temporarily closed.”

Cannon bills the new venue as an “eatertainment” destination, with a classic American menu, including chicken sandwiches, burgers, seafood, oversized boozy drinks, a variety of sports-themed arcade games and dozens of televisions for big-game viewing.

The indoor/outdoor space also includes murals by pop artist Rob Prior that pay homage to several hip-hop legends.

In addition, Wild ‘N Out will:

  • Feature regular performances by comedians and DJs, with surprise appearances from Cannon and the Wild ‘N Out crew.
  • Offer several weekly themed nights and specials, including Industry Mondays, for the hospitality industry and Hip-Hop History Wednesdays, with DJs spinning hip hop tracks.
  • Present a club atmosphere after the dinner service.
  • Do brunch on weekends from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Wild ‘N Out also has an upper-deck seating area and a bar area for 40.

The cocktail menu includes a selection of frozen drinks and signature cocktails like the Wild ‘N Out Piña Colada and the Henny Holla-Rita Margarita, and some, like the Spiked Southern Kool-Aid Wildn’ Bucket, large enough to serve four or more guests. Bottle service also is available.

Two years ago, Cannon briefly lost his association with the “Wild ‘N Out” TV broadcast franchise, due to criticism over remarks widely perceived to be anti-Semitic. Six months later, after an apology, he re-united with Viacom, in February 2021.

Wild ‘N Out Sports Bar and Arcade, 701 6th Ave., open Monday-Thursday 11 a.m.-11 p.m., Friday 11 a.m.-2 a.m., Saturday 10 a.m.-2 a.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. – 11 p.m.
