No Arrest In Allied Gardens Stabbing After Argument

A man hit with a glass bottle allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed the other man in the left arm and abdomen, police said.

SAN DIEGO, CA — A 34-year-old man was stabbed after an argument with 29-year-old man in the Allied Gardens neighborhood, police said Monday.

"Upon further review of this incident there will be no arrest at this time," said Officer Robert Heims of the San Diego Police Department on Monday. A news release sent earlier said the 29-year-old had been arrested.

The two men were arguing in the 6800 block of Mission Gorge Road at 10:42 p.m. Sunday when one man hit the other in the head with a glass bottle.

The stabbing victim was taken to a hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, Heims said.
