Patrick Klingborg Named Chair of Solomon Ward’s Transactional Department

Promotion effective Jan. 1, 2026

Solomon Ward Seidenwurm & Smith, LLP announced that partner Patrick Klingborg assumed the role of chair of the firm’s Transactional Department, effective Jan. 1, 2026.

Klingborg advises clients at every stage of the business lifecycle, including formation, venture and growth-stage financings, mergers and acquisitions and a wide range of commercial transactions. He was recently recognized as one of the San Diego Business Journal’s 100 Leaders of Influence in Law for 2025.

As head of the Transactional Department, Klingborg will continue to build on Solomon Ward’s established transactional law platform. The firm’s transactional attorneys advise clients on M&A, equity financings, commercial transactions, trust & estates, real estate and tax law.
