Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Train In San Diego
The collision happened just north of Sassafras Street, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.

SAN DIEGO, CA — A train fatally struck a pedestrian Wednesday in San Diego.
The northbound Coaster train hit the person, described only as an adult, at about 3:50 p.m. just north of Sassafras Street, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department. There were no reported injuries to the employees or passengers on the train.
