SAN DIEGO, CA — A pedestrian is in the hospital Thursday after suffering major injuries when she was struck by a car as she crossed the road in Tierrasanta.
The 82-year-old woman was walking across the street at 10900 Montego Drive when she was hit by a 76-year-old woman driving a Mazda CX-5 on Wednesday around 8:20 p.m., the San Diego Police Department reported.
The victim was taken to a hospital. She had a fractured tibia and/or fibula among other life-threatening injuries.
