Police Investigate 'Suspicious' Death Of Man In San Diego
A woman discovered her ex-husband not breathing and with a significant amount of blood on and around him, police said.
SAN DIEGO, CA — Police were investigating a suspicious death after a man was found dead Thursday afternoon at a home in San Diego's Redwood Village neighborhood, authorities said.
Officers and San Diego Fire-Rescue personnel responded shortly after 4 p.m. to a 911 call in the 3800 block of Loma Alta Drive, where a woman reported finding her ex-husband unresponsive, not breathing and with a significant amount of blood on and around him, according to the San Diego Police Department.
Paramedics and officers arrived within minutes and pronounced the 46-year-old man dead at the scene. His name was not released.

The cause and manner of his death remain undetermined, but detectives were working in coordination with the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office.
