Police Officer Struck By SUV In Coronado
A Coronado motorcycle police sergeant was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

CORONADO, CA — A Coronado motorcycle police sergeant was injured after being struck by an SUV Sunday.
ABC10, citing the Coronado Police Department reported that the accident occurred at 9 a.m. Sunday in a residential area of Coronado, where a vehicle allegedly pulled out of an alley at Sixth Street and Alameda Boulevard and hit the officer.
After being struck, the officer's motorcycle was caught on the grill of the vehicle. He flew over the handlebars of his patrol bike onto the hood of the vehicle and hit the windshield, according to the Coronado Police Department.

"The officer was conscious and was able to radio for help," according to Coronado police. He was then taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
