Police Search For Suspect In Felony Hit-And-Run Accident
A driver has yet to be identified in a hit-and-run accident that injured a pedestrian in Lincoln Park.
SAN DIEGO, CA — A driver has yet to be identified in a hit-and-run accident that injured a pedestrian in Lincoln Park.
A 27-year-old man walking diagonally across the road was struck by a vehicle on 47th Street around 9:15 p.m. Tuesday, according to the San Diego Police Department. Witnesses told police that the vehicle drove away north on 47th Street, then west down Imperial Avenue.
The man was transported to a hospital with a broken leg, according to online reports.

"Fault has yet to be determined in this collision and the suspect vehicle [has] not been identified at this time," said Officer Buttle, in a watch commander's report.
Police blocked the area at 47th Street at Imperial Avenue and at Ocean View Boulevard for an unspecified duration of time.
