Popular Sea Lion Sketch Show Returns To SeaWorld San Diego
Inspired by comedy troupes like The Groundlings and Second City, Sea Lions Tonite blends pop culture parody with animal education.

SAN DIEGO, CA — SeaWorld San Diego is bringing back its popular sea lion sketch show.
Sea Lions Tonite opens March 7 with California sea lions Clyde and Seamore alongside a cast of animal care specialists. Inspired by comedy troupes like The Groundlings and Second City, the variety show blends pop culture parody with animal education.
"Our sea lions are incredibly intelligent and expressive animals, and Sea Lions Tonite highlights those traits in a fun, engaging way," said Wendy Ramirez, curator of zoological operations at SeaWorld San Diego. "Behind the comedy is a foundation of expert animal care, enrichment and training that supports their well-being. We love giving guests the opportunity to laugh while gaining a deeper understanding of these remarkable marine mammals."
