SD School Lockdown Lifted After Search For Possibly Armed Man

John Marshall Elementary School in the Chollas Creek neighborhood was been placed on lockdown.

SAN DIEGO, CA – The lockdown at John Marshall Elementary School in the Chollas Creek neighborhood of San Diego has been lifted, school district officials advise.

The roughly 40-minute precautionary alert at the Altadena Avenue campus went into effect in the early afternoon as officers searched the area for a possibly armed vandalism and domestic-violence suspect, according to police. The man was not found, an SDPD spokesman says.
