Reported Threat Against SDSU Deemed Not Credible, Police Say

"This person never posed a threat to the community," police said in a statement.

SAN DIEGO, CA – A reported threat against San Diego State University was deemed not credible, campus police said.

Police were contacted Thursday morning about a person making "incoherent threats" on campus. Officers detained the person and determined that the threat was not credible, police said.

"This person never posed a threat to the community," police said in a statement.

The person, who was not affiliated with SDSU, was removed from the campus, police said.
