Reward Offered For Information In 2022 Murder Of San Diego Man
It's the two-year anniversary of the death of Abram Santos, 37, of San Diego.

SAN DIEGO, CA — On the two-year anniversary of his death, authorities sought the public's help Tuesday in identifying the person or people responsible for the unsolved murder of a San Diego man.
The California Highway Patrol Border Communications Center received a 911 call shortly after 5 p.m. Feb. 13, 2022, about a man just off the roadway at southbound Interstate 805 at the 43rd Street off-ramp in the Mountain View area of San Diego, according to the San Diego Police Department.
When CHP officers arrived at the scene, they found a man, later identified as Abram Santos, 37, of San Diego, down in the brush with apparent trauma to his upper body, police said. San Diego Fire-Rescue Department personnel arrived at the scene, but Santos was pronounced dead.

The department's homicide detectives were notified of the death and assumed the investigation. Little is known about the circumstances surrounding Santos' death, police said, but detectives believe he was killed elsewhere, and his body was left at the 43rd Street off-ramp.
San Diego County Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for any information that leads to an arrest in the case.
