SAN DIEGO — A run of 17 decreases in 18 days in the average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County ended Thursday with an increase of three-tenths of a cent to $3.586.
The average price dropped 9.4 cents over the previous 18 days, including a half-cent Wednesday, to its lowest amount since March 28, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 2 cents less than one week ago, 11.4 cents lower than one month ago and six-tenths of a cent below what it was one year ago, despite rising 24.5 cents since the start of the year.
