Sailing In San Diego: Photo Of The Day

SAN DIEGO, CA — Patch reader Scott Owen captured this photo of "a young sailor coming in from a long day of ocean racing and training."

"The wind was favorable, so they were allowed to sail back into the bay to their launch ramp at San Diego Yacht Club," he explained. "I thought the backdrop and sky was beautiful, so I captured this young man as he passed by one of the moored U.S. Navy ships."
