San Carlos House Fire Displaces 2 Residents
The fire erupted in the garage and spread into the living quarters of the house before firefighters were able to get them under control.
SAN DIEGO, CA — Flames spread through a San Carlos-area home Monday, displacing a pair of residents and causing an estimated $190,000 worth of property losses.
The blaze erupted in the garage of the residence at Artemus and Boulder Lake avenues for unknown reasons shortly before 2:30 p.m., the city agency reported. The flames spread into the living quarters of the house before firefighters were able to get them under control.
The American Red Cross was called in to help the two people who live in the home arrange for temporary emergency shelter.

The fire caused about $120,000 in structural damage and destroyed contents valued at roughly $70,000, according to SDFRD public affairs.
