San Diegan Chosen as Contestant on ABC Show 'The Bachelor'
26-year-old Susannah Milan was among 30 bachelorettes announced for the next season of the reality competition show.

SAN DIEGO -- A 26-year-old account manager from San Diego was among the 30 bachelorettes announced Dec. 8 for the next season of the ABC reality show ``The Bachelor.''
Susannah Milan will be among those trying to win the affection of Nick Viall, a 36-year-old technology salesman from Milwaukee who finished second on both the 2014 and 2015 seasons of ``The Bachelorette'' and was a contestant on ``Bachelor in Paradise'' in 2016, remaining on the show until its final episode.
Milan, according to an online profile, has been a customer account manager with Carmel Valley-based AMN Healthcare since June 2015, and previously worked for First Citizens Bank and Wells Fargo for two years each as a sales and service representative and lead teller, respectively.

She attended San Diego Mesa College and Steele Canyon High School in Spring Valley.
She describes flying to Europe on a whim with one of her best friends as her greatest achievement; calls buying shoes her guilty pleasure and when asked if she could be any animal, what animal would she be, responded a lioness ``because they're queens of the jungle but still elegant.''

``The Bachelor'' begins its 21st season on Jan. 2.
