Host families provide three daily meals, a bed, and an open, caring environment where learning and cultural exchange can take place. Host families are also responsible for getting their students to their local bus stop in the morning, and picking them up from the bus stop in the evening.
The program provides host families with a tax-free stipend of $110 per week to offset food expenses. Some families may qualify to house up to four students, which would offer a stipend of $1,760 per week.
