- The average price of gas in San Diego County has dropped for 15th time in 16 days. It seemed like we were never going to get relief at the pump, but prices have now dropped for two weeks in a row. The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County dropped Thursday, decreasing 1.3 cents to $5.779. The average price has dropped 23.9 cents over the past 16 days, including 1.9 cents Wednesday.(NBC San Diego)
- Chick-Fil-A opens two new spots in San Diego County. Chick-Fil-A is making their move in San Diego, opening restaurants in Vista Village and View Hills, creating 350 jobs. "In honor of the openings, Chick-fil-A, Inc., based in Atlanta, will donate $25,000 for each restaurant to Feeding America. The combined $50,000 will be distributed to local partners to fight hunger. In addition, the two new restaurants are each recognizing 100 local heroes making an impact in the community by providing them with free food for a year." (Patch)
