San Diego Gymnastics & Parkour To Open Largest Facility

POWAY, CA — San Diego Gymnastics & Parkour plans to open its seventh and largest location this spring in Poway, the company announced.

The new facility will span more than 10,000 square feet and offer classes and programs for children from infancy through age 17, according to the company. Programs will range from beginner to competitive levels in gymnastics and parkour.

The company is offering 300 discounted "Founders Club" memberships before opening, which include locked-in tuition rates and other incentives, including special events and handprints on the wall.

The public grand opening is set for April 18, a spokesperson confirmed to Patch. Founders Club members can get early access beginning April 11.

"We have proudly served the San Diego community for nearly two decades and are thrilled to open our newest, largest spot in Poway filling a need for local families," San Diego Gymnastics & Parkour CEO Paige Conroy said.

The Poway location will include a 30-foot trampoline, uneven bars, balance beams, a 40-by-40-foot spring floor, a 22-foot climbing rope, and a parkour warped wall and obstacles.

Founded in 2008 in Point Loma, the company has expanded across the county with locations in Chula Vista, La Mesa, Carlsbad, Mission Valley and Rancho Bernardo. The original Point Loma location relocated to the Midway District in mid-2021.

The company has started franchising under the GForce Gymnastics & Parkour name, with sites open in Murrieta and La Quinta and more locations planned, including in the Bay Area.

The Poway facility will be located at 12630 Poway Road, Suite D1. A grand opening celebration will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 18.
