San Diego Humane Society Kicks Off Donation-Matching Campaign
The organization will fully match donations made through Dec. 31 to maximize its efforts to save, shelter and provide care to animals.

SAN DIEGO — The San Diego Humane Society announced that it is launching a $200,000 donation-matching campaign in honor of Giving Tuesday.
The organization will fully match donations made through Dec. 31 to maximize its efforts to save, shelter and provide care to neglected animals throughout the county. Donations can be made at bit.ly/2DEBVch and directed to specific programs within the organization like its kitten nursery.
"Our lifesaving work at San Diego Humane Society would absolutely not be possible without the support of our community," Humane Society Senior Vice President and Chief Philanthropy Officer Brian Daugherty said. "And during our matching campaign, donations will provide twice the nourishment, safe shelter and lifesaving medical care for homeless and neglected animals in our San Diego community."
