San Diego Is Least Affordable In U.S. For Home Buyers: Report
The median price for homes in San Diego went up more than 14 percent in January.
SAN DIEGO, CA — The San Diego housing market is the least affordable in the country, according to a recent report.
The report by OJO Labs showed that the median price for homes in the region went up by 14.3% in January to $764,000.
But that's not because San Diego has the most expensive homes, just lower wages, according to the report.

"I'm really concerned for people at the lower end of the income distribution," Alan Gin, an economics professor at University of San Diego, told San Diego FOX 5.
The report found that Green Bay-Appleton, Wisconsin, is the most affordable of the top 50 metro areas in the country.
