San Diego Man Arrested In December Shooting Death

Andrew Brown, 28, was booked into the San Diego County Jail on suspicion of murder and attempted murder, police said.

SAN DIEGO, CA – Police Tuesday arrested a 28-year-old suspect in a shooting that killed a 31-year-old man and injured another man in San Diego's Teralta West neighborhood last December.

Andrew Brown of San Diego was taken into custody in the 3900 block of University Avenue and booked into the San Diego County Jail on suspicion of murder and attempted murder, San Diego police Lt. Anthony Dupree said.

Brown allegedly shot and killed Kenneth Williams and wounded a second man shortly before 7:25 p.m. on Dec. 15 in the 4100 block of Central Avenue, Dupree said.

Williams died at the scene, and the surviving victim, who has not been publicly identified, was hospitalized.

Brown is expected to be arraigned Thursday afternoon.
